Cristiano Ronaldo, commonly referred as CR7 is one of the most popular athletes in the world and some will say the best footballer right now, considered as the fuel for his club and the lone ranger of his country. The Portuguese has had an excellent last season while he won both the UEFA Champions League for the club and Euro16 for Portugal. This season he is bit struggling with his fitness and form however he still managed to mesmerize the fans as he started the score line at 17th minute in UCL match against Borussia and was highly effective throughout the match that brought him the man of the match title. He then contributed with 4 assists and a goal in next 3 La Liga matches confirming a firm position in the league for Real Madrid. After a stumbling start he is showing the signs of getting back into his ruthless form again in this season.
ST: Robert Lewandowski – FC Bayern München (Germany)
The Polish is the best number 9 player at the moment, possesses all the qualities required. The unsung hero made major contribution in winning Bayern’s 4th consecutive league trophy while he scored 30 goals and the first foreign player to do so. Lewandowski started this season (2016-17) with a hat-trick and netted 7 times in total of 10 appearances with the club with 2 important goals in UCL matches.
ST: Mario Mandžukić – Juventus (Italy)
29 years old Croatian joined the Italian side Juventus from Athletico Madrid last year (2015). Unfortunately Mandzukic is struggling to replicate the form he achieved when playing for Bayern Munich. However he scored a goal against Sampdoria and helped Juves to maintain the top spot in Serie A.
RM: Thomas Müller – FC Bayern München (Germany)
Thomas Muller proved his necessity once again in the squad of Bayern Munich and made the positive impression to the new manager Pep Guardiola. The German ensured his position in the team as he assisted 3 times in 5 Bundesliga and 2 goals in 3 UCL matches.
RM: Mohamed Salah – Roma (Italy)
The attacking right midfielder of Roma having a fantastic season so far with 6 goals in 11 matches including a goal in UCL and also contributing 4 crucial assists. The Egyptian started the season opening the score sheet in the first league match and winning the man of the match award. His club is now lagging behind from the league leader Juventus by just a point.
RM: Antonio Valencia – Manchester United (England)
The Ecuadorian is playing for the English side ManU for nearly 8years and has been in the central role in recent years. Though the club is fumbling to set for a stable position in Barclays Premier League, Valencia however managed to continue his form consistently. He came back adamantly after almost a half year long injury break.
LM: Marko Arnautović – Stoke City (England)
Austria international was Stoke City’s leading scorer with 12 goals in 40 games and has produced some outstanding performances teaming up with Xherdan Shaqiri and Bojan Krkic as part of a ruthless three-pronged attack.
CB: Aymen Abdennour – Valencia CF (Spain)
Tunisian player plays for Spanish club Valencia serving the central defense. He possesses a high passing accuracy of almost 90% and makes up the ground for the midfielder.
CB: Kári Árnason – Malmö FF (Sweden)
The highly experienced vice-captain of the Swedish club Malmo FF has been superb so far. The club has held the leading throne of Allsvenskan with a large margin of points than the other competitors in the league. They didn’t concede any goal in 5 times of last 10 matches while Kari scored a goal and did great job at defense.
RB: Séamus Coleman – Everton (Everton)
Coleman scored a goal for Everton against Middlesbrough getting a rating of 9 and winning the MOM. Hopefully his form may help the descending club to obtain a better place.
GK: Andriy Pyatov – Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine)
Paytov is in tremendous form recently securing 8 clean sheets in last 10 matches. Most importantly he didn’t concede any goal in UEFA Europa League in this season. The GK has allowed his club to prevail the top spot in the Ukranian league.
